Business Lines

Most businesses have telephone lines serving one of the main contact points for their customers. We have the ability to take over your existing lines from your current provider or connect new lines for your business. CUBE Voice & Data also specialises in understanding your business needs and providing an upgrade path for capacity increase and future expansion by migrating your current services to a better suited line type.

PSTN (Analogue) – A basic telephone line delivered on copper wires carrying analogue voice services. PSTN lines are most commonly found in residential properties and smaller businesses with low call volumes and may be operated without a complex phone system setup. These lines are generally required to deliver an ADSL 2 service to many premises around Australia. Another benefit of a PSTN line is that it is unaffected by power outages and can still be operated during a failure (providing the handset connected does not require power).

ISDN (Digital) – Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is designed to allow digital transmission of voice and data over ordinary telephone copper wires, resulting in potentially better voice quality than an analogue service. ISDN Lines can be found in small businesses but more likely found in Medium to Large Businesses for greater capacity, call management and additional features such as transferring calls externally from your office to an employee’s mobile.

SIP (VoIP) – Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a signalling protocol for Internet Telephony and therefore requires an internet connection to function. SIP can be used for audio, videoconferencing and call routing to be deployed over IP networks. SIP services are not affected by telephone exchange boundaries but do require power and a reliable internet service to function.

CUBE Voice & Data through careful analysis of your current business set up combined with an understanding of your future business needs, can design a customised solution for your organisation. Our solutions utilise single or combination of these technologies to ensure a robust, efficient and overall reliable communications environment.
